Hand printed onto Ramie (which feels like linen but is actually woven from nettle fibres), this cushion cover has been printed with potatoes!
The fabric inks are water based but have been fixed with heat so the colours will not run and the cover is washable.
This design is influenced by some beautiful pebbles I found on a north Cornish beach. To make the marks I cut and scored the potatoes in a variety of ways and chose a pallette of very pale greens, pinks and blues to print on the black background fabric to create this delightful and fun design..
I have carefully sewn the cover and it includes a concealed zip.
A beautiful and totally unique addition to any interior space.
